BFAIR Announces Promotion of Laura Baran

NORTH ADAMS — BFAIR announced the promotion of Laura Baran to senior director of Employment and Community Based Day Services (CBDS). This development reflects Baran’s dedication, skills, and commitment to excellence, marking a significant milestone in her career journey with BFAIR.

Baran’s association with BFAIR dates back to 2015. After serving as a board member from 2015 to 2018, she transitioned into the agency as a recruiter and has spent the past five years playing a crucial role in supporting the agency’s hiring efforts.

Her professional journey includes significant roles such as Day Program director at another local nonprofit, program manager for the American Cancer Society, and Berkshire County Kids Place. Her experience extends beyond the professional realm, encompassing community involvement, fundraising, and board membership; she has volunteered with organizations such as Northern Berkshire United Way, American Cancer Society, and others.
