NORTH ADAMS — BFAIR has launched the 2023 Heart of BFAIR campaign as its annual appeal.
With a focus on 24/7/365 care, BFAIR is committed to the people it serves, and this year’s annual Heart of BFAIR campaign shows a day in the life of an individual, Corinne, who lives in a BFAIR residence and attends BFAIR’s Day Habilitation program.
As a kickoff to the campaign, BFAIR participated in Giving Tuesday with a match of $5,000 from Adams Community Bank, raising more than $11,500 in a single day.
Community members can also purchase handmade gifts crafted by BFAIR program participants to support the campaign. Sales of these items will go toward providing quality, individualized care for the organization’s programs and residences.
“This year, we were so fortunate to share a day in the life of Corrine, who has received residential and day services from BFAIR for over 16 years,” said Tara Jacobsen, director of Development. “Hearing about her daily life, routines, and interests; seeing the relationships with staff created over the years; and understanding the impact of quality, individualized services are truly impactful. We are so thankful for the community support each Heart of BFAIR campaign, and it is through this generosity that we can enhance program resources for people of all abilities.”
Supporters of the Heart of BFAIR campaign, running through Dec. 31, will help promote accessibility, create independence, and enhance program resources for more than 400 people served by BFAIR. Donations can be made at www.bfair.org/donate/heartofbfair.
