Cancer House of Hope to Host Lecture on Nutrition During Treatment
WEST SPRINGFIELD — Rachel Sapelli will present a lecture titled “Nutrition During Cancer Treatment” on Wednesday, September 13 at 5:30 p.m. at CHD Cancer House of Hope, 1999 Westfield St., West Springfield. A smoothie-making demonstration will follow the lecture.
Sapelli, a registered dietitian and nutritionist with a master’s degree in nutrition and health promotion, is the oncology dietitian at the Sister Caritas Cancer Center at Mercy Medical Center. She completed her education and training through Simmons College, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston.
Sapelli’s presentation is part of the Cancer Education Series presented by the Sister Caritas Cancer Center. Advance registration is requested, and the lecture is free and open to all. To register, call CHD Cancer House of Hope at (413) 733-1858.
