Dr. Susan Romm Reuben Joins River Valley Counseling Center

HOLYOKE — Dr. Susan Romm Reuben, a fellowship trained psychiatrist, has joined River Valley Counseling Center (RVCC).

“With more than 20 years of experience, Dr. Reuben brings with her a broad range of knowledge along with a reputation of providing clients with high quality, compassionate care,” said Rosemarie Ansel, executive director of RVCC.

Reuben received a BA in biology from Barnard College at Columbia University in New York before attending SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine. She then completed her residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center.

“I am excited to join River Valley Counseling Center. The organization’s growth in providing behavioral health services throughout the Pioneer Valley for people of all ages has made it the counseling center of choice,” said Reuben. “I look forward to working with a team that is helping our community access the critical behavioral health care they need to support their overall health and wellness goals.”

Reuben is a diplomate of the National Board of Examiners, as well as a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is a member of both the American Psychiatric Association and the Western Mass. Psychiatric Association.
