FMC Campaign Receives Support
GREENFIELD — As Franklin Medical Center nears completion of its $5.5 million Second Century Campaign, three more corporations have made leadership gifts.
The Community Foundation of Western Mass. has awarded FMC a grant of $45,000 for the county’s largest-ever capital campaign, while Health New England of Springfield and Lunt Silversmiths of Greenfield have donated gifts of $100,000 each.
The goal of the Second Century Campaign is to raise funds for three major renovation projects in the hospital: the Emergency Department, Radiology and Imaging, and the Inpatient Medical-Surgical and Intensive Care units. With completion of the first phase of the renovations, patients and staff are already benefiting from expansions to Radiology and Imaging, a fixed open MRI, private treatment rooms in the Emergency Department, a brand-new ICU, and enhancement of some of the inpatient areas.
