SOUTH HADLEY — The Loomis Communities has announced that Lawrence R. (Larry) Gonneville has been named the recipient of the 2004 Elvira Whiting Ball Award, presented annually to an individual or group who has advanced the mission of the Loomis Communities and personifies the spirit of its founder, Elvira Whiting Ball.

The award will be presented at the Loomis Communities’ 3rd Annual Spring Reception on May 13 at the Wistariahurst Museum in Holyoke. Prior recipients include attorney Chark S. Lyon in 2002 and the 1981 Loomis board of directors in 2003.
