JGS Announces Appointments
LONGMEADOW — Jewish Geriatric Services Inc. has named Diane Mintz, R.N., B.S.N. to head its home health care entity, Spectrum Home Health Care/
A JGS Home Care Company, in the role of executive vice president/executive director.
Additionally, Sarah Goodman, R.N., B.S.N., has been named director of Patient Services for the agency.
Mintz will take charge of the management of the nonprofit home health care agency, and participate as part of the senior management team of Jewish Geriatric Services. Goodman, meanwhile, will be responsible for the clinical management of Spectrum, specifically overseeing the quality of patient care services.
With more than 30 years of clinical and management experience, Mintz joins Spectrum from the Visiting Nurse Assoc. and Hospital of Western New England at Franklin Medical Center. In her 21 years with that agency, she was senior clinical team supervisor, nurse manager, and nursing supervisor. Prior to that, she worked for Visiting Nurse Assoc. of Boston as a clinical coordinator, senior nurse, and community health nurse.
Goodman also joins Spectrum from the VNA and Hospice of Western New England at Franklin Medical Center, where she was a care manager responsible for quality assurance and case management, and in assisting with the day-to-day management of that agency. Prior to that, she worked for Vineyard Nursing Assoc. in Oak Bluffs.
On Martha’s Vineyard, Goodman was a member of the Martha’s Vineyard Hospice Ethics Committee, End of Life Care/Advanced Directive Task Force, and the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital Auxiliary.
