JGS Lifecare Food Drive Benefits the Parish Cupboard in West Springfield

LONGMEADOW — JGS Lifecare, a Longmeadow-based healthcare system serving seniors and their families, has a long history of community involvement. Last week, it held a food drive benefiting the Parish Cupboard in West Springfield, a food-distribution center serving families in West Springfield, Agawam, and Feeding Hills. Community members and JGS employees alike brought in canned and dry goods for families that may be in need this holiday season.

Martha Tighe, director of the Parish Cupboard, said she is grateful to receive the donations from JGS Lifecare. “This will go a long way to helping our families. Our Thanksgiving just got a lot better. Thank you!”
