Linda Manor, Charlene Manor Earn Prestigious Award

LEEDS, GREENFIELD — Of the few long-term-care organizations recognized this year by National Research Corp. for exceptional satisfaction scores, Linda Manor Extended Care Facility in Leeds was one of the few Massachusetts winners to garner awards for both customer and employee satisfaction.
Meanwhile, with scores in the top 1{06cf2b9696b159f874511d23dbc893eb1ac83014175ed30550cfff22781411e5} nationally, Charlene Manor in Greenfield was also recognized by National Research Corp. for exceptional customer satisfaction. Both facilities are operated by Berkshire Healthcare.
The Excellence in Actions award from My InnerView by National Research Corp. recognizes long-term-care and senior-living organizations that achieve the highest levels of satisfaction excellence. The awards recognize the organization’s commitment to continuous quality improvement and efforts to prioritize the needs of residents and families.

Linda Manor’s honor is the most recent in a series of outstanding accomplishments that include the American Health Care Assoc. Gold Excellence in Quality Award and a perfect survey from the Department of Public Health.
This past year, 549 long-term care organizations nationwide were chosen from about 8,500 participating providers. Linda Manor and Charlene Manor were two of 23 winning communities in Massachusetts.
Linda Manor Extended Care Facility is a nonprofit organization that has been caring for people in the Pioneer Valley area since 1989. Charlene Manor Extended Care Facility is a nonprofit organization that has been caring for people in the Greenfield area since 1987.

Both provide personalized short-term rehabilitation, long-term skilled-nursing care, respite care, and specialized Alzheimer’s and dementia care in a warm, homelike setting. Hospice services are available for compassionate end-of-life care.
