Loomis Communities Elects Board

HOLYOKE — The Loomis Communities, a non-profit continuing care retirement community with campuses in Holyoke, South Hadley, and Amherst, recently elected two community leaders to join its board of directors.
Douglas Bowen of South Hadley, executive vice president of PeoplesBank; and Robert A. Potash, Ph.D. of Amherst, Haring Professor of History Emeritus at UMass, have joined the board.

Elected as officers for 2003 are: Richard Whiting, from Whiting Energy Fuels, as chairperson; and Deborah Buckley, president of Goss & McLain Insurance, as vice chairperson.

Also elected to the board were Casey Clark, Nancy Eddy, Lawrence Gonneville, Una Hayes, Thomas Hazen, David Katz, Dr. James Mahoney, Richard Matthews, Joseph Paul, Thomas Pratt, Mary-Anne Stearns, Allen Steiger, Joan Steiger, and Bruce Barber.
