Monson Savings Bank Donates $1,000 to Miracle League of Western Massachusetts

MONSON — Demonstrating its ongoing commitment to supporting organizations that strengthen local communities, Monson Savings Bank recently donated $1,000 to the Miracle League of Western Massachusetts through the bank’s 2026 Community Giving Initiative. The donation will help the organization continue giving children and young adults with disabilities the opportunity to experience the joy of playing baseball in an inclusive, supportive environment.

Monson Savings Bank President and CEO Dan Moriarty and Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Michael Rouette presented the donation to Brian Feeley, board president of the Miracle League of Western Massachusetts, and Sue-Ann Hilton, board member and media relations representative for the organization.

“The Miracle League of Western Massachusetts creates opportunities for children of all abilities to build confidence, friendships, and lasting memories through sports,” Moriarty said. “At Monson Savings Bank, we are proud to support organizations that make a meaningful difference in the lives of local families, and we are honored to contribute to the important work of the Miracle League.”

The Miracle League of Western Massachusetts was founded in 2015 by Ernie and Tammy Fitzell and serves children ages 4-19 with physical and/or cognitive disabilities. The organization provides participants of all abilities the chance to play baseball, be part of a team, and enjoy the benefits of recreation in an encouraging and accessible environment.
