Spectrum Home Health Care Receives Special recognition

LONGMEADOW — Spectrum Home Health Care, a Jewish Geriatric Service (JGS) home care company, received a “full compliance” and deficiency-free rating in this year’s survey by the Mass. Dept. of Public Health (DPH), finding the agency free of any deficiencies in patient outcomes and overall quality of care.
Spectrum employees were also feted not only for their work during the survey, but also for their dedication to caring, said Linda Donoghue, COO for JGS.

The team evaluated the entire operation, most notably the quality of nursing and therapeutic care, non-clinical care, clinical records, and overall satisfaction of clients and families. DPH focused on how well Spectrum complies with federal and state conditions of participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs
