SPHS Appoints Pledger As New Director Of Employment
SPRINGFIELD — The Sisters of Providence Health System (SPHS) has announced the appointment of Lee Pledger to the position of director of Employment and Employee Relations.
In that role, Pledger will be responsible for employment and employee relations throughout the SPHS community. The health system’s human resources generalists and human resources assistants will report to her.
Pledger has an extensive human resources background, having worked in a variety of industries, including health care.
She served most recently as the Human Resources director for PRI Automation in Bellerica, Mass. Prior to that, she served as vice president of Human Resources at Jackson National Life Insurance in Lansing, Mich.
She also held HR leadership roles at Digital Equipment Corp. and the New England Deaconess Medical Center.
Pledger received a bachelor’s degree from Tufts University. She has also completed executive development programs at both the Simmons College and University of Michigan graduate business schools.
