Tebben Joins BMC Practice

PITTSFIELD — Berkshire Medical Center recently announced the appointment of Robert Tebben as a physician assistant in Cardiology. 

Tebben provides cardiology services with Peter Zwerner, M.D., David Finck, M.D., Jeffrey Leppo, M.D., and Rebecca Takis-Smith, another physician assistant, with offices located in the BMC Medical Arts Complex. Tebben also assists the physicians in their work at the BMC Cardiovascular Center, also located in the Medical Arts Complex.

A member of the Mass. Assoc. of Physician Assistants, Tebben graduated from the Physician Assistant program at Northeastern University in Boston, where he earned a Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island.

Tebben served as senior paramedic for Rural Metro Medical Services in Syracuse, N.Y., providing advanced life support and 911 services in that community. He also served a paramedic for South Kingston (R.I.) Medical Services, and was a paramedic supervisor for the Brown University Emergency Medical Service in Providence.
