United Arc Online Auction Offers Opportunity to Support Organization’s Work
TURNERS FALLS — In what it’s calling its ‘UnEventFull Year,’ due to several annual events being canceled due to COVID-19, the United Arc is taking its annual auction online. From now through Sept. 20, auction packages will be available for individuals to bid on, with new packages being added to the catalog every one to two weeks. All auction packages have a minimum value of $250.
Each time someone visits the online auction to consider the packages available for bid, they will be able to register for a free entry to a drawing to win a ‘Pandora’s box’ valued at more than $400. To access the online auction, click here.
Businesses are invited to become a sponsor or donate a package for the online auction. An auction package is an opportunity to showcase a business while demonstrating its commitment to the community and to the full community inclusion of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Auction packages or auction-package items can be donated anytime during the event year; however, to be included in the 2020 event, packages or items must be received no later than Friday, Aug. 14. Auction packages and items received after Aug. 14 will be included in the 2021 event.
