VNA/ Hospice Alliance Announces Additions To Leadership Team

NORTHAMPTON — The VNA/Hospice Alliance (VNA/H) announced that it has added specialists in quality improvement, finance, and marketing to its senior leadership team.
Carla Braveman, executive director of the VNA/H, said the additions were made “to help us become an even stronger organization and more responsive to our patients and families.”

The new additions are as follows:

• Gina L. Mazza, RN, has been named quality director. In her new position, she will focus on outcome-based quality improvement for the VNA/H. Mazza has held a wide variety of management positions at the Visiting Nurse Association and Hospice of Western New England, a division of Baystate Health System.

• George Trombley has joined the VNA/H team as chief financial officer. He is responsible for organizing and administering the business, information system, and financial activities for the 115-employee agency. He comes to the VNA/H with 15 years of experience as the former CFO of the VNA & Hospice of Northern Berkshire Inc., in North Adams.

• Willa J. Fasten has been named the agency’s marketing and new programs director. In her new position she will be responsible for increasing awareness of the services provided by the VNA/H to patients and families in Hampshire and Franklin counties, as well as developing new programs. She comes to the agency from Baystate Health System, where she was director of marketing, home-based services, and physician practices.
