AIC Names Grunfeld To Teaching Post

SPRINGFIELD — American International College recently announced that Mary M. Grunfeld, of Ware, has been named an adjunct professor of occupational therapy. 

Grunfeld has more than 10 years of experience in the field. She is a motor development specialist and works in early intervention for young children. She assesses children’s motor skills and sensory needs, and consults with their teachers, program directors, and family members.

Grunfeld earned a bachelor of arts degree from UMass/Amherst, and a bachelor of science degree from Worcester State College. She obtained her advanced master’s degree in occupational therapy from Springfield College.

She is also a registered licensed occupational therapist, certified in non-violent crisis intervention and a certified American Heart Association healthcare provider.
