Albert Opens Primary Care Practice At BMC’s Hillcrest Family Health

PITTSFIELD — Berkshire Medical Center announced the appointment of Kyneret Albert, M.D. as a primary care physician practicing at Hillcrest Family Health, located at the Hillcrest Campus of BMC.

 

Albert is practicing with Christopher Trancynger, M.D., Michael Blackman, M.D., Rebecca Caine, M.D., and Family Nurse Practitioners Laurie Bank and Robin Love at Hillcrest Family Health. She comes to BMC after providing primary care with a focus on women’s health

at a community practice operated by Newton-Wellesley Hospital, where she practiced for two years with two other primary care physicians.

Albert previously served as a clinician with the Center for Psychiatry at Holyoke Hospital from 1990 to 1993, where she provided one-on-one and group counseling in an inpatient psychiatric unit. Additionally, she worked as a counselor with the Family Planning Council of Western Mass. in Springfield, providing counseling regarding birth control, sexually transmitted diseases, pregnancy testing, options counseling, and routine gynecological health care. She has also served as coordinator for the Student Sexuality Information Service at Brandeis University, providing similar services to the college community.

Albert is accepting new primary care patients.
