Baystate Health’s Annual Senior Class Picnic to Be Held Aug. 9

PALMER — Area seniors are invited to join Baystate Health’s annual Senior Class Picnic to be held on Wednesday, Aug. 9 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pulaski Park Picnic Shelter, 40 Belchertown St., Three Rivers. The picnic is sponsored by Health New England.

“This year’s picnic theme, Swashbuckling Shindig, will feature great food, festive music, and a fun time for all,” said Susan Fontaine, senior coordinator of Loyalty Programs for Baystate Health. “After feasting on grilled hot dogs and hamburgers, veggie burgers, broccoli salad, watermelon, ice cream, and other delectable picnic food, everyone can get their feet moving on the dance floor as Richie Mitnick plays ballroom and line-dancing favorites. There will also be bingo, a card game or two, and prizes for those wearing the most eye-catching pirate or damsel outfit.”

The cost for the Swashbuckling Shindig Senior Class Picnic is $20 for Baystate Health Senior Class members and $35 for non-members. Space is limited, and reservations will be made on a first-come, first-served basis. To register, visit seniorclasspicnic.eventbrite.com or call (413) 794-5200.
