Berkshire Money Management Treats Local Nurses to Free Coffee During Nurses Week
DALTON — In celebration of National Nurses Week (May 6-12), Berkshire Money Management is partnering with local cafés to offer a simple but meaningful thank-you to nurses through a program called Grounds for Gratitude: Free Coffee During Nurses Week.
From Wednesday, May 6 through Tuesday, May 12, licensed nurses employed by Berkshire Health Systems — including RNs, LPNs, and APRNs — can stop into participating cafés, show a valid employee ID, and enjoy one free coffee, tea, or other non-alcoholic beverage per day.
Participating locations include Café Holli in Great Barrington, WANDER Cafe in Pittsfield, and Tunnel City Coffee in North Adams. Each location is conveniently situated near Berkshire Health Systems facilities, making it easy for nurses to grab a drink before, during, or after their shifts.
The offer includes a wide range of beverages — hot or cold; fresh, canned, or bottled. Nurses can keep it simple or customize their drink just the way they like it, including an extra shot of espresso, flavor additions, or even a generous topping of whipped cream. No registration is required. Nurses simply visit a participating café and show their Berkshire Health Systems ID.
The effort is led by a team of financial advisors at Berkshire Money Management who regularly work with healthcare professionals, including Holly Simeone, Michael O’Brien, Brendan Bullett, and Peter Coughlin.
“Berkshire County runs on the dedication of its nurses,” Simeone said. “This is a small way to recognize the long hours, compassion, and commitment they bring to their work every day.”
