Hampshire Meadow Family & Pediatric Dentistry to Open in Hadley

HADLEY — Construction has been completed on Hampshire Meadow Family & Pediatric Dentistry, a combined family and pediatric dental office at 207 Russell St. in Hadley. It was built by Sweitzer Construction, a company specializing in dental and medical construction, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony is slated for Thursday, Aug. 22 at 2 p.m.

The practice marks the first time specialized pediatric dental services are offered in Hadley, according to Dr. Noelle Nubani and Dr. Cyrus Safizadeh, the married couple who head up the practice. The office has three private rooms equipped with nitrous sedation for patients, whether children or adults, as well as four additional dental chairs for preventive dentistry. As a pediatric specialist, Safizadeh will focus on providing comprehensive pediatric dental treatment, while Nubani has extensive experience treating both children and adults.

Safizadeh earned his bachelor’s degree from UMass Amherst and his doctor of dental medicine degree from the University of Connecticut. Immediately after dental school, he began his residency to become a pediatric dental specialist at Columbia University/New York Presbyterian Hospital in Manhattan, successfully matriculating this past June with a certificate in pediatric dentistry.

Nubani graduated from Boston University School of Dental Medicine and completed a one year post-doctoral residency at Hartford Hospital. She has extensive private practice experience treating adolescents and adults and can provide a wide range of services, from restorative dentistry to oral surgery, root-canal treatment, and implant dentistry. She approaches oral health holistically, considering each patient’s unique health conditions and needs.
