Pioneer Valley Financial Group Cinches Record-high Donations to MHA on Giving Tuesday

SPRINGFIELDPioneer Valley Financial Group (PVFG) in Ludlow donated $2,000 to the Mental Health Assoc. (MHA) on Giving Tuesday in support of MHA’s efforts to improve the lives of young men in early recovery at the GRIT Ridgewood residential program. PVFG’s donation brought total donations to more than $12,000 — a record high for MHA on Giving Tuesday. On top of that, the company has committed to a $5,000 contribution as a match on Giving Tuesday 2021.

“This year has been trying, to say the least, and it’s so good to see folks reaching out to help others and make a positive impact in people’s lives,” said Edward Sokolowski, managing partner for PV Financial. “We are always happy to help MHA because they do such great and important work. By giving back to the community where we live, work, and play, PVFG hopes to encourage other businesses to pitch in because, together, we can truly make a difference.”

Kimberley Lee, vice president of Resource Development and Branding at MHA, added that “unrestricted contributions are incredibly needed, now more than ever, as we continue to respond to the ever-changing challenges of COVID. Pioneer Valley Financial Group has been and continues to be an essential partner in our work. To know our mission as intimately as they do and the impact of our efforts on behalf of hundreds of individuals affected by mental health, homelessness, acquired brain injury, substance use, and intellectual disability is truly a testament to their level of commitment to MHA. They know what we do, and they know what we do matters.”
